As a blogger, I am a firm believer of and an advocate for Facebook groups strictly for bloggers. They are not only a great way to share your latest content, but you can also make some fantastic connections with fellow bloggers. I recently posted about why bloggers need to have thick skin which was a hit among other bloggers. Today, I now want to share the 5 Blogging Facebook Groups to Join.
When I first started blogging, I had no clue where to begin so I was constantly researching the best ways to meet other bloggers. Over and over I read that joining Facebook groups was one of the smartest decisions to make. Ever since I have joined these following groups, my blogging experience has only become better and more enjoyable.
I never thought I would have made genuine friends through blogging, but I credit my involvement in Facebook groups!
Although this list is in no particular order, I feel as if this is one you should definitely join if you want to make real connections. Now, I might be a little biased considering I am one of the admins for this group, however I firmly believe that the community here is extremely awesome.
There are different daily threads as well as the usual comment thread. It is also highly encouraged for members to engage with each other and ask any kind of blogging question they might have.
I also love this group because we are still pretty small (and still growing) so it is easier to make real connections with others in the group.
What kind of community would it be if you couldn’t ask or answer questions and help each other out??
I cannot express how much I love love love group boards on Pinterest. There are so many ways to find group boards to join, such as pingroupie.com, but I find it so much easier to be a part of this group and request to join a Pinterest board whenever someone posts that they are accepting contributors.
This is another Pinterest-related Facebook group that I love. Because Pinterest is without a doubt my highest referral site to my blog, I want to keep the momentum going and try to extend my reach as great as possible. There are daily threads where you submit a link to a pin and then pin other members’ links.
Through this group, I have also found some awesome bloggers to follow, which is always fun!
Similarly to Blog Passion Project, this group also posts threads for bloggers to share their blog content and social media. Right now, this group has almost 2,000 members which I also really love. With a larger group, I am able to ask a question and have so many more opinions and inputs from many different types of bloggers. They also have different threads than #passionproject, so I get involved in many different types of sharing.
This is by far the largest group that I am involved in. There a tons of different threads daily, however I usually only get involved in some of the “all or nothing” follow threads for twitter or instagram. I do not participate every time because it can get overwhelming when there are over 100 people that I have to follow. I enjoy finding new bloggers to follow, which is why I still participate every once in a while.
If you have yet to get involved in any blogging facebook groups, now is your time! Go apply to be a member of all of these groups and watch your own blogging experience change for the better (:
