One thing that I really really stress here in these blissful parts is self care. Why? Oh idk, maybe because if you don’t take care of the very thing that keeps you going (AKA your body) then you won’t be going for long. Because I find so much value in self care, I’m sharing my self care routine and also giving y’all some self care ideas to get you started on your self care journey.
There’s a skewed idea of what “self care” is
I see over and over again people talking about self care as simply being a bubble bath and drinking wine on a Friday night. And I’ll totally vouch for those nights. Self care is more than just our mental health. It also involves taking care of our emotional and physical well-being. As someone with anxiety and depression, keeping all three of these balanced is vital for my sanity.
