Let’s get real, here. No matter how much you love your hometown or your family there, you might not be fortunate enough to live close to home your whole life. Whether it be a short stint for an internship/co-op (like I did) or completely relocating to make a home in a new city, moving away is never easy.
Although I am a firm believer that you really do need to need to take some time in your life to live on your own (you can read more from that post here), the transition still wasn’t easy for me. During this time, I learned a lot about myself and different ways to learn how to handle living away from home.
