It’s safe to say that failure is one of the worst feelings ever. I mean, no one really enjoys working hard toward an end goal only to make a mistake that ruins the entire process. Despite what we think and feel in the midst of beating ourselves up about failing, it’s really true that failure can make you a better person.
Currently, one of my goals is to not dwell too much on the failures and mistakes too much. And also take them as learning experiences to become a better person, which is easier said than done. Whenever I make a mistake, I beat myself up over it for what seems like an endless amount of time. A while ago, I had a deadline to post on social media for a company and due to technical difficulties I completely dropped the ball and missed the deadline.
Not going to lie.. I was pretty pissed at myself for messing up that opportunity. But you know what? I’m taking this failure as an opportunity to grow. I’m learning that I need to get more organized. So, with that, let’s talk about how failure can make you a better person!
