Smoothies are my all-time favorite drinks, so whenever I can make them healthy and add a little more nutrition to my day, I’m all for it! I have always been an avid Strawberry Banana fan and I love to add new ingredients and experiment!
Adding protein to my smoothies are always a given, because the protein helps keep me fuller, longer. Then, I don’t have much of an excuse to go snooping around the kitchen an hour after my meal! Whenever I make fruit smoothies, I love adding just a vanilla flavored protein powder so it doesn’t overpower the fruit.
I am currently a huge fan of the SlimQuick Protein for just this reason! It’s tasty and keeps my hunger away. I also am in love with the vanilla flavor. So if you’re in the market for finding a new protein, this one is one to try!
Make Your Own!!
What you need:
- 2 cups frozen Strawberries
- 1 frozen Banana
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 scoops SlimQuick Protein powder
What to do:
Pour all ingredients into a blender and mix to your desired consistency! I like my smoothies a little on the thicker side, so you might need to add more milk if you wish.
Now, pour you drinks into adorable summer glasses (I purchased these mugs for three dollars each in the Target Dollar Section!!) and garnish with your fruit!
