Happy Hump Day Friends!!
And HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL!
What better way to get past the middle of the week than getting hyped up on caffeine and get shit done?! I am getting really excited for fall and everything that comes along with it!
This weekend, when I go home, I will be going to my favorite apple orchard with my mom and grandpa! I have been going there every year since I was little, so it’s a no-brainer to go again this year. The aromas that fall brings are also to die for. We always get huge bags of apples and make several batches of applesauce and apple crisp. Having my mom’s homemade applesauce to last through the winter always makes me feel at home when I am away.
As you know, I have been obsessed with tea lately. The fall season allows so many tea companies to come out with awesome seasonal tea flavors. Below are the best fall teas for your tastebuds (:
No, really. Your tastebuds will thank you
Chai tea is, in my opinion, one of the best fall teas. The spices that are mixed together to make this wonderful tea pretty much just scream fall! I usually drink this in the afternoon with a little bit of almond milk added to it.
If salted caramel doesn’t have you dancing around because fall is in the air, then I don’t know what will! I love the intense flavor of caramel, which is beyond perfect for a cool, fall afternoon I am obsessed with this and will usually just add a packet of Stevia so I don’t overpower the flavor.
Okay, so this isn’t strictly a “fall tea,” but this is one of my favorites. Irish Breakfast tea is the strongest tea that I have found so far, which is why I drink it almost every morning! Since I haven’t been drinking coffee too much, this is the next best thing!
You obviously cannot have a list of the best fall teas without including Pumpkin Spice!! It is the most cliche flavor of drink, but who doesn’t love it?! Unfortunately, I do not currently have any in Indiana with me, so I am posting a picture from my instagram a while back (: (so follow along if you want to see more cool pictures!) As you can see, the brands I currently love are Twinnings and Bigelow. And no, I am not being sponsored for this post! One of the biggest reasons I started drinking these teas is because they are sealed in individual wrappers, which keep them fresh longer. Since I love switching up my tea everyday, I like to have different flavors on hand. When they are sealed, it helps keep them fresh longer, because I can’t drink them fast enough! I am sure you noticed this adorable “For Fox Sake” mug in the background! While checking out Summer Lane Designs on Etsy, I fell in love! All of her products are so adorable, so I wanted to share her shop with you guys! And because today is the first day of fall, I am collaborating with Summer Lane Designs on Etsy to host a GIVEAWAY! In order to win, you must complete every task (:
