Well well well… now that my fall FabFitFun box arrived this week, it’t officially fall! Now can we get a move on with the cool, crisp air?! I got some scarves I wanna break into! (:
FabFitFun is by far my favorite subscription box that I have tried thus far. With a variety of different products, it really never disappoints. This box marks a full year of subscribing and I must say that if you haven’t jumped on this bandwagon you really don’t know what you’re missing! One thing that I did notice was missing from the box this month were the gift cards/discount cards. I’m not too too bummed about this because everything else is BOMB and I rarely find things on the sites I love, but I thought I would note that for this haul/review of my loot.
Coloring book and colored pencils
In my fall FabFitFun box I received the “Things” coloring book and I’m soooo pumped! Coloring makes me so happy and helps get my mind off of everything else that goes on in my life.
Modcloth Loch and Key scarf
I find it pretty insane that I have a scarf collection around 50 scarves (I wish I was exaggerating…) and I had yet to obtain a blanket scarf. I love how they look so warm and cozy and just make a fall outfit look so much more, well… fall. Because I signed up for the yearly subscription, I was able to pick out which scarf color I wanted. While it wasn’t a surprise, I am stilled so in love with it and think it will definitely be a staple long through winter. Oh, and I’ll for sure be wearing it to all the future bonfires so it can double as a blanket if I get cold (:
The Created Co. To-Go Coffee Mug
I am a huge huge huge mug junkie, so getting a travel mug in my fall FabFitFun box was kinda like icing on the cake! During the week, I am usually rushing out the door and always throw some hot tea in a travel mug and hit the road. The black and gold “good morning gorgeous” is so chic and fun too!
Mullein & Sparrow Mini French Lavender Body Oil
If there was only one scent that I was allowed to wear the rest of my life, it would without a doubt be lavender. I just love its relaxing aroma to calm me down before bed. Since I received this box I have been lathering this body oil all over my arms at night right before I hit the hay. It also doesn’t hurt that this oil is super moisturizing.
The Browgal Clear, Water-Resistant Eyebrow Gel
I typically use a tinted gel for my eyebrows, so I’m not sure how much use I will get out of this guy, but we will see! To be honest, I’m not really a fan of how large the brush is. When I apply gel on my brows, I like to have a smaller brush to feel I have more control.
Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Buffer Wash Infused Buffer
In the past year, I have tried several Spongelle products and have yet to be disappointed. It was really exciting to see this body buffer in my box, however I am not thrilled with the scent. Typically, floral scents make me happy, but the rose scent smelled a little “old person” for me. To that, my mom really liked the scent, so to each her own (:
Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette
Oooooh YASSSSSS. I love me a good, new eyeshadow palette! At first glance, I think this could be a good dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette (however, the prices are relatively the same, so I would probably buy the UD one over this…just sayin’). I have not tested this out on my eyes to determine their staying power, but I did swatch them. I noticed that the shadows were really soft and had an almost chalky texture…so I’m afraid that these shadows won’t last long. Would I purchase this on my own? I would not.
Toesox Toeless Fitness Socks
I remember back in the day when I was OBSESSED with my toe socks! I have never seen toeless toe sock before, so this was definitely interesting. I am getting back into doing yoga here and there, so these will be fun to test out! I like the grips on the bottom so I don’t feel like I’m slipping and sliding all over the map.
Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum
Well well well, another skincare product for Amanda! I love love love testing out skincare products and seeing if they work for my combination, acne-prone skin. During the week, sometimes I can get so tired that I slack off on my routine (which I’m trying to be better about), so this serum will definitely come in handy when I need to give my skin a boost.
While there were some items in this box that I wasn’t jumping for joy over, there wasn’t anything that I despised, which is awesome for a huge lifestyle box! The variety in the fall FabFitFun box was out of this world too. So will I keep subscribing to FabFitFun? HECK YES! Wanna test out this awesome box too? Use this link to score $10 off your first box!
